For all things Travel & Bookings ask Csilla by clicking HERE.
1. Where do I need to fly into/out of for this river cruise?
Munich, Germany (MUC) would be the closest international airport to fly into. You can take a train from there to Passau, or book shared transfer(restrictions apply). Your return flight should be from Budapest, Hungary (BUD).
2. Is there an option for a private transfer?
Yes, private car transportation can be booked on this link (please note a private transfer by car is 2-3hrs long, and the cost for it is EUR350-EUR420+).
3. Why do I need travel insurance?
To protect your travel investment and yourself against unforeseen situations, such as flight cancellations, delays, baggage loss, trip interruptions, accidents and sickness, and medical evacuation. Don’t leave it up to chance, plenty of things happen every day that can affect one’s travel. If you can’t afford to lose your trip cost should something prevent you from traveling, you can’t afford to not to buy travel insurance.
4. Should I arrive on the day of my cruise departure or earlier?
Ever since the pandemic interrupted our normal ways of life, things have been hectic, especially in the world of travel. Flight cancellations and delays are common, and for this reason, we recommend arriving at least 1 day prior to your cruise departure time.
5. Cruise extensions- are pre and post-cruise trips offered?
While Amadeus does not have a preset pre or post-cruise extension, Evyssa Vacations specializes in crafting personalized vacation packages and tours. You can also double your pickleball vacation and add a land tour (ex. Pickleball Vikings for June, Pickleball Titans for Sep) before/after it. Another option is an early arrival or late return, to take advantage of a few extra days in Hungary or Germany. For those wanting to visit a different European destination, we can help with custom extensions. Reach out to us to discuss your best options if you want to extend this trip with a pre or post-stay, by clicking HERE.
